| Intruduction: | Human C9ORF9 is an uncharacterized protein with 222aa. Recent genome-wide proteomic analysis study indicated that C9ORF9 protein normally restricted its expression in ovary and testis tissue. Monitoring C9ORF9 protein expression in various cancer tissues may provides a diagnostic value in clinical application. Full-length human C9ORF9 cDNA (221aa, which derived from BC012940) was constructed with codon optimization and expressed with a human Alpha-Fetal Protein N-terminal domain (AFPn)-His-TEV cleavage site (219aa) fusion at its N-terminal. This protein is expressed in E.coli as inclusion bodies.. The final product was refolded using our unique “temperature shift inclusion body refolding” technology and chromatographically purified. |
