Human immunoglobulin superfamily member 11 (IGSF11) gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin-like domain-containing superfamily. Proteins in this superfamily contain varying numbers of immunoglobulin-like domains and are thought to participate in the regulation of interactions between cells. IGSF11 is preferentially expressed in brain and testis. It shares significant homology with coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor (CXADR) and endothelial cell-selective adhesion molecule (ESAM).

Full-length extracellular domain of human IGSF11 cDNA (24-241aa, derived from BC034411) was constructed with codon optimization and expressed with a small T7-His-TEV cleavage site Tag (29aa) fusion at its N-terminal. This protein is expressed in E.coli as inclusion bodies. The final product was refolded using our unique “temperature shift inclusion body refolding” technology and chromatographically purified.
