| Intruduction: | Human immunoglobulin superfamily member 1 (IGSF6) gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin-like domain-containing superfamily. Proteins in this superfamily contain varying numbers of immunoglobulin-like domains and are thought to participate in the regulation of interactions between cells. Recent data indicated that one of functions of IGSF6 protein may be involved in CD40L activation pathway in dentritic cell, which might important in various immune disorder development. Full-length extracellular domain of human IGSF6 cDNA (28-153aa, derived from BC017844) was constructed with codon optimization and expressed with a small T7-His-TEV cleavage site Tag (29aa) fusion at its N-terminal. This protein is expressed in E.coli as inclusion bodies. The final product was refolded using our unique “temperature shift inclusion body refolding” technology and chromatographically purified. |
